New book in 2010, The Best of British by David Grant - Photographer and Vic Venters - Writer, features A A Brown & Sons amongst many others. More details about this book will follow shortly.
These Nigel Brown books will quickly become the trade 'bibles' for afficionados, auctioneers and gunshops countrywide
Of course, we are featured in volume 2, as is pretty well every gunmaker you could possibly think of outside London, (they get their own book, obviously volume 1.) We do not believe there will ever be a more thorough pair of books on the British gun trade, Nigel Brown's (no relation) works are truly definitive and the level of research has been most remarkable, he has been writing these books for years and years. He is the only person to have been entrusted with the old record books of many firms, us included, to aid him in recording the serial numbers of a vast plethora of firearms. We congratulate him on his achievement. The books are now available from us at £50 each plus P&P if required, enquire for details and current availablility, at present (Dec.2005) we have a small stock of them.
